About the Journal

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Cendekia (P-ISSN 3047-4884 | E-ISSN 3047-4221) is a journal that collects articles related to the implementation of community service. This journal is published twice a year, in May and October. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Cendekia is published by the Center for Intellectual Property and Scientific Publications, University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. The editor invites academics and practitioners (universities, government, non-governmental organizations, etc.) to submit their articles to the Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Cendekia journal.

Peer Review Policy for Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Cendekia

The journal follows a double-blind review process, which ensures complete confidentiality. This means that:

  • Reviewers are not informed about the identity of the authors of the manuscript.

  • Authors do not know the identity of the reviewers, ensuring an unbiased and objective review process.

 

5. Final Decision Based on Reviewer Feedback

Once the review process is completed, the editor will send a final decision regarding the manuscript to the corresponding author, based on the reviewers' recommendations. The decision will fall into one of three categories:

  • Accepted: The manuscript is accepted for publication without changes.

  • Revision: The manuscript is accepted pending revisions suggested by the reviewers. Authors must make the required changes before final acceptance.

  • Rejected: The manuscript is rejected due to major issues such as being out of scope, significant technical flaws, or lack of clarity in the presentation.

 

6. Confidentiality

The Editorial Board is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and reviewer communications. This confidentiality must be preserved throughout the review and publication process, ensuring that all intellectual property and research are protected.
