Focus and Scope

Justine aims to disseminate the results of student research in the broad field of Information Systems and Information Technology, and to give students of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi a proper scientific venue for the work produced in their final projects.

Justine invites manuscripts in the following areas:

  1. Information systems — analysis, design, development, and evaluation of information systems; management information systems; decision support systems; enterprise systems; e-government and e-business.
  2. Software engineering — requirements engineering, system modelling, application and mobile development, software testing and quality assurance, user interface and user experience design.
  3. Computer networks and security — network design and administration, internet and web technology, information security, and computer forensics.
  4. Data and intelligent systems — databases and data warehousing, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, expert systems, and image processing.
  5. Information technology in organisations and society — adoption and governance of information technology, digital literacy, and the application of information technology in education, health, government, and small and medium enterprises.

Justine welcomes empirical research articles as well as system development reports that follow a clear and reproducible engineering methodology. The primary audience of this journal is students, lecturers, and practitioners interested in the development and application of information systems and information technology.
