USING SONGS AND MUSICS TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ LISTENING SKILLS IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Listening is the most critical aspect of language acquisition, without which one cannot comprehend spoken language, nor can they produce any spoken language. However, EFL learners and teachers find listening is difficult to learn and to teach. Teachers can play a critical role in helping students overcome these challenges by providing opportunities for students to practice active listening, engaging them in discussions that are relevant to their interests and backgrounds, and using a variety of teaching methods, media, and resources to enhance their listening skills, one of which is using songs. Listening to English songs and music can be effective ways to improve students’ listening skills. Songs can provide a fun and engaging way for students to practice their listening comprehension as well as help them become more familiar with the language and its pronunciation. Furthermore, music can help motivate students to expand their vocabulary and pronunciation skills..

STRATEGI GURU DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER SISWA KELAS IV MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH NEGERI 3 LAMPUNG UTARA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

The problem discussed in this study is the teacher’s strategy in building the character of fourth grade students at Madrsah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 North Lampung. This study aims to describe the teacher’s strategy in building the character of fourth grate Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 North Lampung. The method used in this research is descriptive method through a qualitative approach. In this study found the teacher’s strategy in building the character of fourth grade students, using four strategy, namely (1) Coaching strategy, (2) Strategi exemplari strategy, (3) Strategy for developing, (4) Facility strategy.

Analisis Afiksasi dalam Kumpulan Puisi Perjalanan Taskell Karya Djuhardi Basri sebagai Alternatif Bahan Ajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas

Abstrak: Masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah afiksasi dalam kumpulan puisi Perjalanan Taskell Karya Djuhardi Basri sebagai Alternatif Bahan Ajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui afiksasi dalam kumpulan puisi Perjalanan Taskell Karya Djuhardi Basri dan mengetahui layak atau tidaknya kumpulan puisi tersebut dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.. Hasil analisis afiksasi pada kumpulan puisi Perjalanan Taskell karya Djuhardi berjumlah 101 data, yaitu dengan rincian prefiks 45 data, infiks 1 data, sufiks 27 data, konfiks 14 data, dan kombinasi afiks 14 data. Jenis afiksasi yang dominan dalam kumpulan puisi tersebut ialah penggunaan prefiks. Jenis afiksasi yang paling sedikit ialah penggunaan infiks. Kumpulan puisi Perjalanan Taskell karya Djuhardi Basri layak dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas karena telah memenuhi kriteria yang terdiri atas tiga aspek, yaitu aspek bahasa, psikologi, dan latar belakang budaya.

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF MENGGUNAKAN AURORA 3D PRESENTATION 2012 TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 10 KOTABUMI

Pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif memakai Aurora 3D Presentation  2012 pada  pemahaman konsep materi bangun ruang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Kotabumi ini dilatar belakangi kurangnya pemanfaatan komputer sebagai media pembelajaran Aurora 3D Presentation 2012 khususnya matematika.  Pengembangan ini dilaksankan bertujuan guna mencari tahu tahap pengembangan dan kelayakan media pembelajaran di media pembelajaran interaktif memakai Aurora 3D Presentation 2012 pada pemahaman konsep materi Bangun Ruang. Pengembangan ini dilaksanakan guna mencari tahu cara mengembangakan media pembelajaran berbasis Aurora 3D Presentation 2012. Pengembangan yang diadobsi oleh Sugiyono, penelitian dibatasi 7 tahap pengembangan yakni 1) potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) uji coba 7) Revisi Produk karena waktu dan biaya yang terbatas. Sesuai penilaian yang didapat dari para ahli, praktisi pendidikan dan respon siswa makadapat disimpulkan bahwa produk media pembelajaran berbasis Aurora 3D Presentation 2012 guna tingkatkan pemahaman konsep bangun datar segitiga dan segiempat siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Kotabumi adalah sangat layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Citraan dalam Kumpulan Puisi Kini Aku Datang Karya Isbedy Stiawan ZS

Abstrak: Dalam penelitian ini permasalahan yang dibahas ialah citraan yang terdapat pada kumpulan puisi Kini Aku Datang karya Isbedy Stiawan ZS. Dilakukannya penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan meng-identifikasi citraan yang terdapat dalam kumpulan puisi Kini Aku Datangserta menentukan kelayakan kumpulan puisi tersebut dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar di sekolah menengah atas. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ialah ditemukannya enam puluh data citraan. Data tersebut meliputi citraan pendengaran, peraba, penciuman, penglihatan, pencecap, dan gerak. Dilihat dari aspek pemilihan bahan ajar, kumpulan puisi tersebut layak dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar bagi peserta didik sekolah menengah atas karena telah memenuhi kriteria. Kriteria tersebut terdiri atas tiga aspek, yaitu psikologi, latar belakang budaya, dan bahasa. The purpose of this study was to describe and identify the imagery contained in the poetry collection Kini Aku Datang and to determine the feasibility of the collection as an alternative teaching material in high school. In this study used a qualitative descriptive method. The results obtained in this study were the discovery of sixty image data. The data includes imagery of hearing, touch, smell, sight, taste, and movement. Viewed from the aspect of selecting teaching materials, this collection of poems is worthy of being used as an alternative teaching material for high school students because it meets the criteria. The correlation between students anxiety and students reading comprehension at eleventh graders in SMAN 2 Kotabumi North Lampung Academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract: Reading is one of the most essential skills in language learning. However, many students face difficulties in comprehending reading material. Students' anxiety is one of the aspects that researcher assumes to be correlated with students reading comprehension at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 2 North Lampung Academic Year 2022/2023.Therefore of this research was to determine whether there is a correlation between students' anxiety and students reading comprehension at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 2 North Lampung in the Academic Year 2022/2023.This research is a quantitative research which used the correlation method. The population of this research is 260 students. The total sample of this research is 40 students when was taken using Proportional Random Sampling technique. In collecting data, the researcher used a questionnaire to measure students' reading anxiety and a test which was used to measure students' reading comprehension. The data analysis using Pearson Product Moment correlation, show that = 0.392. This value is greater than the = 0.312. It means that was rejected, and was accepted. From the result of significant test, it was found that = 2.554 and with dk = 38-2 by using significant level 5% is 2.024. So, it can be concluded that there is significant correlation between students anxiety and students reading comprehension at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 2 North Lampung Academic Year 2022/2023.

Ekstrakurikuler pramuka dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter siswa

Membentuk kebiasaan dan nilai karakter yang rendah seperti membuang sampah sembarangan bahkan tawuran dengan teman sebaya atau perilaku yang menunjukkan kurangnya menyembunyikan nilai karakter di sekolah dasar. Sehubungan dengan itu, pertanyaan yang diajukan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa SD Negeri 02 Kemalo Abung tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka dalam pengayaan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa SD Negeri 02 Kemalo Abung tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metodologi penelitian deskriptif dan kualitatif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara terekam. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan kemudian reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.  

Analisis Pemahaman Konsep Segiempat Dan Segitiga Ditinjau Dari Teori APOS (Action, Process, Object, Scheme) Pada Siswa UPTD SMP Hang Tuah

The problem in this research is understanding the concept of quadrilaterals and trianglesin terms of APOS theory students from UPTD SMP Hang Tuah. The purpose of this study was describe the understanding of the concept of quadrilaterals and trianglesin terms of APOS theory (action, process, object, scheme) students from UPTD SMP Hang Tuah. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The research subjects totaled 6 students who were selected based on purposive sampling categories. The research instruments are researchers, test instruments, and interview guides. The data validation technique uses 2 methods, namely the persistence of researchers and triangulation. The data analysis technique is carried out in 3 ways, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that high-ability subjects were able to reach the action, process, object and scheme stages. As for subjects with moderate abilities, they are able to reach the action, process, object stage, but at the object stage they are still not perfect at it, and have not been able to reach the schema stage. Whereas low-ability subjects are only able to reach the action, process stage, but at the process stage they are not perfect in doing so, and have not yet reached the object and scheme stages.     

PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI MEDIA SOSIAL BOT API TELEGRAM MATERI PELUANG DI SMPN 4 ABUNG TIMUR

Abstrak : Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Bot API Telegram ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya ketertarikan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru sehingga menjadi salah satu faktor rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi peluang matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Bot API Telegram materi peluang kelas VIII di SMPN 4 Abung Timur. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan model Sugiyono yang memiliki 10 tahap, namun pada penelitian ini dibatasi hanya sampai 7 tahap yaitu sampai tahap revisi produk, pembatasan tersebut dilakukan disebabkan oleh keterbatasan waktu, biaya, dan tenaga. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan kuantitatif, berikut tahap – tahap pengembangan 1) potensi dan masalah, 2) pengumpulan data, 3) desain produk, 4) validasi desain, 5) revisi desain, 6) ujicoba produk, 7) revisi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Bot API Telegram dengan persentase sebagai berikut : ahli materi (83%) “sangat layak, tidak perlu revisi”, ahli media (93%) “sangat layak, tidak perlu revisi”, ahli bahasa (90%) “sangat layak, tidak perlu revisi”, praktisi pendidikan (96%) “sangat layak, tidak perlu revisi”, respon siswa (80%) “sangat layak, tidak perlu revisi”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Bot API Telegram pada materi peluang kelas VIII SMP, layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran disekolah   Kata Kunci : Pengembangan Media, Media Pembelajaran, Bot API Telegram, Hasil Belajar, Peluang Matematika

Analisis Morfofonemik pada Novel Mecca I'm Coming Karya Salamun Ali Mafaz sebagai Alternatif Bahan Ajar di Sekolah Menengah Atas

Abstrak:  Masalah yang dibahas pada penelitian ini ialah morfofonemik yang terdapat pada novel Mecca I’m Coming. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan morfofonemik pada novel Mecca I’m Coming karya Salamun Ali Mafaz. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang digunakan diambil dari novel Mecca I’m Coming karya Salamun Ali Mafaz. Teori yang digunakan ialah teori dari Abdul Chaer dalam bukunya yang berjudul Morfologi Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 60 data penggunaan morfofonemik yang terdiri dari lima jenis morfofonemik meliputi pemunculan fonem, pelesapan fonem, peluluhan fonem, perubahan fonem, dan pergeseran fonem. Morfofonemik pemunculan fonem diperoleh 17 data, pelesapan fonem 3 data, peluluhan fonem 29 data, perubahan fonem 2 data, dan pergeseran fonem sebanyak 9 data. Morfofonemik pada novel Mecca I’m Coming karya Salamun Ali Mafaz sesuai dengan dua aspek penting pada pemilihan bahan ajar. Oleh karena itu, morfofonemik pada novel Mecca I’m Coming tersebut dapat dikatakan  layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar di sekolah menengah atas. The problem discussed in this research is the morphophonemics found in the novel Mecca I'm Coming. The purpose of this research is to describe morphophonemics in the novel Mecca I'm Coming by Salamun Ali Mafaz. The method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data used is taken from the novel Mecca I'm Coming by Salamun Ali Mafaz. The theory used is the theory from Abdul Chaer in his book entitled Indonesian Language Morphology. The research results show that there are 60 morphophonemic usage data consisting of five types of morphophonemics including phoneme emergence, phoneme dissipation, phoneme softening, phoneme change, and phoneme shift. Morphophonemic phoneme emergence obtained 17 data, phoneme dissipation 3 data, phoneme softening 29 data, phoneme change 2 data, and phoneme shift by 9 data. Morphophonemics in the novel Mecca I'm Coming by Salamun Ali Mafaz corresponds to two important aspects in the selection of teaching materials. Therefore, the morphophonemics in the novel Mecca I'm Coming can be said to be worthy of being used as an alternative teaching material in upper secondary schools.

An analysis of students difficulties in public speaking skill of the sixth semester students of english education study program at muhammadiyah kotabumi university academic year 2021/2022

In general, there are four important skills in English: listening, speaking, reading and writing. All these skills are very important for students to master in order to be able to communicate well. Among these skills, speaking is one of the most important. Because not only do students need to know aspects of the language, but they also need to master other aspects such as: Having high self-confidence, getting rid of fear, getting rid of shyness, getting rid of fear, etc. fear. The problem with this study is the difficulty faced by public speaking students, especially those in the sixth semester of the English Education Program at Muhammadiya University Kotabumi. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difficulties faced by public speaking students, especially those in the 6th semester of the English Language Education Program at Muhammadiya University Kotabumi. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. Thesubjects of this study were sixth semester students of the English Language Education course. Researchers identified six students as study subjects. The tool used in this study is an interview. In this study, the data collection technique used by researchers was the interview technique. The results of this study indicate that there are two aspects to the problems that lead to language impairment in students. Her two sides to the problem are language issues and non-verbal/psychological issues. Language problems include pronunciation, lack of vocabulary, and lack of grammar. Non-verbal/psychological problems consist of lack of self-confidence, fear, embarrassment, and lack of motivation.Keyword : English, Speaking, Difficulties

Analisis Pembentukan Karakter Kewirausahaan dalam Pembelajaran Tematik di SD Negeri 02 Papan Rejo

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pembentukan karakter kewirausahaan pada pembelajaran tematik di SD Negeri 02 Papan Rejo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembentukan karakter kewirausahaan melalui pembelajaran tematik di SD Negeri 02 Papan Rejo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, subjek penelitian ini adalah guru tematik di SD Negeri 02 Papan Rejo. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis pembentukan karakter kewirausahaan pada pembelajaran tematik di SD Negeri 02 Papan Rejo, pada kelas rendah hanya ditemukan beberapa karakter saja ini menandakan bahwa dikelas rendah tampaknya orientasi pembentukan karakter masih difokuskan pada karakter-karakter dasar seperti mandiri, kreatif, orientasi pada tindakan, disiplin dan komunikatif sedangkan pada kelas tinggi ditemukannya semua nilai karakter kewirausahaan tersebut yaitu mandiri, kreatif, orientasi pada tindakan, berani mengambil resiko, kepemimpinan, kerja keras, jujur, disiplin, dan komunikatif. Hal ini karena dikelas tinggi orientasi pembentukannya karakter sudah matang sesuai dengan tingkatannya.  

USING JIGSAW METHOD TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION

Abstract: Reading is one of the important skill for students in the learning process. Reading is not only about reading a text but also comprehending and getting a knowledge from a written text. In learning process need a strategy especially in teaching reading. Jigsaw technique is a cooperative activity that can be considered as one of alternatative strategy for teaching reading. In jigsaw, student divided into several group which given different material. After learning the material, students will go to expert group with the same material to discuss their material. Then student go back to their original group to share information or knowledge related to what they have learned. The teacher end jigsaw technique by giving a test or quiz. The Jigsaw technique has advantages in the learning reading process, such as ; Jigsaw help student recall more information, Jigsaw Strategy aids in the development of oral communication skills in students, Jigsaw improves students' social skills, Jigsaw builds confidence and self-esteem in students and Jigsaw aids in the advancement of race relations. Membaca tidak hanya tentang membaca teks tetapi juga memahami dan mendapatkan pengetahuan dari teks tertulis. Dalam proses pembelajaran diperlukan suatu strategi khususnya dalam pengajaran membaca. Teknik jigsaw adalah kegiatan kooperatif yang dapat dianggap sebagai salah satu strategi alternatif untuk mengajar membaca. Dalam jigsaw, siswa dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok yang diberikan materi yang berbeda. Setelah mempelajari materi, siswa akan pergi ke kelompok ahli dengan materi yang sama untuk mendiskusikan materi mereka. Kemudian siswa kembali ke kelompok asalnya untuk berbagi informasi atau pengetahuan terkait dengan apa yang telah dipelajarinya. Guru mengakhiri teknik jigsaw dengan memberikan tes atau kuis. Teknik Jigsaw memiliki keunggulan dalam proses pembelajaran membaca seperti; Jigsaw membantu siswa mengingat lebih banyak informasi, Jigsaw membantu dalam pengembangan keterampilan komunikasi lisan pada siswa, Jigsaw meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa, membangun kepercayaan diri dan harga diri siswa dan yang terakhir adalah Jigsaw membantu dalam kemajuan hubungan ras. STUDENTS’ PERCEPTION TOWARDS SPEAKING LEARNING STRATEGIES AT THE FIFTH SEMESTER OF ENGLISH EDUCATION IN UNIVERSITY OF MUHAMMADIYAH KOTABUMI ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023

Speaking learning strategies are ways or methods that students can use in learning speaking. In this case, students have different perceptions about the strategy used, namely suitability or compatibility in the way they learn, not all students use the same strategy. Therefore, this study discusses students' perceptions of the speaking learning strategies they use in teaching speaking. The purpose of this study was to find out the types of speaking learning strategies used by students based on the theory of an expert chosen by the researcher. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to describe the perceptions of students' choice of speaking learning strategies. Furthermore, this study took 40 students as qualitative research subjects. Questionnaire is a data collection tool used in this study. From the results of the study, there were 40 students using memory strategies, 35 students using cognitive strategies, 30 students using compensation strategies, 38 students using metacognitive strategies, 37 students using affective strategies, 38 students using social strategies. It can be seen that were more than 30 students using several strategies. In the 6 strategies, the most dominant strategy is often used, namely memory strategy. Based on the results of the study, there were 12 students of 40 students used several strategy. Lastly, we can see that students’ perception toward speaking learning strategies is positive perception. It means that, speaking learning strategies are important based on the perception of fifth semester students. With strategies that are widely used, students will find which one is better and suitable for strategies in learning to speak and not easily discouraged to try again.

FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO STUDENTS' MOTIVATION IN LEARNING ENGLISH AT THE EIGHT GRADE OF SMPN 1 WEST SUNGKAI ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023

Abstract: Motivation is the key to learning a second language and one of the most important factors affecting the achievement of language learners. Many studies have exposed that motivation is positively related to success in learning the English language or any other second languages. Learn something maybe can be difficult, if we don’t have motivation. Motivation is an important part when you will try to learn something. Having motivation shows that someone already knows the resolution. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that contributing to students’ motivation in learning English and the factors that dominate them. This study uses qualitative research that examines 10 students at eighth grade of SMPN 1 West Sungkai academic year 2022/2023. The instruments used was interview. The result of this study indicated that factors contributing to students’ motivation in learning English is intrinsic factors. While, the dominant factors from the intrinsic factors are students’ psychological, students’ physic, students’ ability and ideals and students’ aspiration.

(2) Dewi Ratnaningsih, S.Pd., M.Pd.   Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah pengunaan afiksasi pada tugas mata kuliah penyuluhan bahasa Indonesia pada program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra indonesia universitas muhammadiyah kotabumi tahun 2021. penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengunaan afiksasi pada tugas mata kuliah penyuluhan bahasa Indonesia pada program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra indonesia universitas muhammadiyah kotabumi tahun 2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan adalah afiksasi pada morfologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara menandai dan mencatat. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan 81 data. Data tersebut meliputi 41 prefiks, 1 infiks, 14 sufiks, dan 25 konfiks.   kata kunci:afiksasi, prefiks, infiks, sufiks, konfiks, makalah penyuluhan bahasa Indonesia.

A Descriptive Study Of Students’ Ability In Writing Descriptive Text At The Eighth Grade Of Smpn 4 Kotabumi Academic Year 2021/2022

Abstract: Writing is an activity of putting thoughts or ideas into writing so that other people can read and understand them. Writing is the act of making notes or information on media using handwriting. Writing is an activity for us to be able to express what is in our feelings and encourage individuals to express what we are thinking or feeling. The problem in this research is the students' writing ability in descriptive text at SMPN 4 Kotabumi. The purpose of this study was to determine students' ability to write descriptive texts. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a sample that the researcher took, namely 30 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used writing and documentation test instruments. Data analysis was carried out by processing data using the average student score, the results of data processing from the writing test obtained from the overall recapitulation of student scores with a score of 61 in the sufficient category. And it can be concluded that the ability of students' writing tests at SMPN 4 Kotabumi is in the sufficient category.

ANALISIS PRONOMINA PADA KUMPULAN CERPEN SEPASANG SEPATU TUA KARYA SAPARDI DJOKO DAMONO SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF BAHAN AJAR DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS

Abstrak: Masalah yang dibahas pada penelitian ini ialah pronomina yang terdapat pada kumpulan cerpen Sepasang Sepatu Tua karya Sapardi Djoko Damono. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pronomina pada kumpulan cerpen Sepasang Sepatu Tua karya Sapardi Djoko Damono. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 75 data penggunaan pronomina di enam cerpen yang terdapat pada kumpulan cerpen tersebut. Pronomina persona pertama tunggal diperoleh 14 data, persona pertama jamak 9 data, persona kedua tunggal 7 data, persona kedua jamak 4 data, persona ketiga tunggal 21 data, persona ketiga jamak 11 data, dan pronomina introgativa 9 data. Pronomina pada kumpulan cerpen Sepasang Sepatu Tua karya Sapardi Djoko Damono sesuai dengan tiga aspek penting pada pemilihan bahan ajar. Oleh karena itu, pronomina pada kumpulan cerpen tersebut layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar di sekolah menengah atas.       Kata Kunci: kumpulan cerpen Sepasang Sepatu Tua, pronomina, Sapardi Djoko Damono Abstract: The problem discussed in this study is the pronoun found in a collection of short stories Sepasang Sepatu Tua by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The purpose of this research is to describe the pronouns in a collection of short stories Sepasang Sepatu Tua by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that there were 75 data on the use of pronouns in the six short stories contained in the short story collection. First person singular pronouns obtained 14 data, first person plural 9 data, second person singular 7 data, second person plural 4 data, third person singular 21 data, third person plural 11 data, and introgativa pronouns 9 data. The pronouns in the short story collection Sepasang Sepatu Tua by Sapardi Djoko Damono correspond to three important aspects of selecting teaching materials. Therefore, the pronouns in this collection of short stories are worthy of being used as an alternative teaching material in high school. Perbandingan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Materi Perbandingan Antara Siswa yang Diberi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) dengan Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) di SMP Negeri 11 Kotabumi

Rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Kotabumi, disebabkan karena siswa kurang aktif dalam pembelajaran. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan pemecahan masalah materi perbandingan antara siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) dengan tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimen, desain eksperimennya menggunakan quasi experimental design, bentuk desain yang digunakan ialah nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Kotabumi tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas VII 1 dan VII 2. Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes berbentuk uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji n gain, uji-t dan uji prasyarat. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil uji-t pada nilai n gain yaitu  maka  ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah materi perbandingan antara siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) lebih baik daripada siswa yang diberi tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) di SMP Negeri 11 Kotabumi.
